FitnessIQ (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (APPs), Brazil’s LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados), and the EU GDPR where applicable.
Information we collect
Account details (name, email), profile data you provide during onboarding (goals, market, training preferences), health and activity data you log (workouts, nutrition, weight, measurements), and technical data (device, usage, and cookies needed to run the app).
How we use your data
To create and personalise your workouts and coaching, operate your account and subscription, provide support, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), with your consent (health data you choose to log), and for our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service).
Sharing and processors
We use trusted processors to run FitnessIQ, including Firebase (Google) for hosting and authentication and Stripe for payments. They process data only on our instructions.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act, LGPD, and GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
Data retention & security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and delete it on request or a reasonable period after closure. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted.
